The DSAP is a highly mobile, rapid response system for the safe decontamination of large numbers of affected persons. A special feature of this system is the freely configurable layout of the shower lines for ambulatory and non-ambulatory persons, which allows you to decide the system’s configuration shortly before erecting it.
The heart of the system is a 20’ CSC certified container that is divided into two sections. Section 1 contains the shower lines, where the automatic control of the shower system takes care of the actual decontamination of persons. Section 2 houses the technical modules such as the generator, hot water module, chemical dosing unit and electrical control system. Inflatable tents are connected to the entrance and exit of section 1 and act as changing areas for people undergoing decontamination. Air conditioners and heaters can also be incorporated in the overall system, in accordance with the customer’s specific requirements. The DSAP can be set up for ambulatory and non-ambulatory persons, with two to four shower lines, and with an optional full partition for gender separation, depending on the particular mission. With four shower lines, up to 180 people can be decontaminated per hour. Each shower line can be operated independently. The showers are adjustable and enable shower cycles with a choice of duration of 60, 90 or 120 seconds, at a water temperature of up to 36 °C. The showers can also be used by untrained persons without any problem, thanks to the use of easy-to-understand pictograms and an automated shower and traffic light system.
