In addition to containerised field camp solutions, the worldwide missions of the Bundeswehr require highly mobile elements. The quality of a field camp is decisive for the quality of life in the field and increases the physical and psychological endurance of the soldiers during missions. The “Highly Mobile Field Camp System 150” consists of air-transportable modules which form the basis for initial operations. The Accommodation Trailer (TRUK) includes three tents for 8 soldiers each. These tents can be unloaded, set up and disassembled in a few minutes. The KFH 20/40 heaters heat or ventilate the tents and ensure an agreeable climate inside the tents. Food is prepared in the weather-protected MFK 250 Modular Field Kitchen with integrated CD 10 combi-steamer. Clean drinking water is produced by the WTC 1600 GT which is capable of purifying 40,000 litres of drinking water per day anywhere in the world. The Sanitary Trailer is a compact, highly mobile shower and toilet system which offers the highest level of hygiene in the sanitary area. The mobile TFL 25 Field Laundry effectively washes and dries dirty laundry anywhere in the world.

The variability of the Highly Mobile Field Camp System 150 can be seen in the fact that the individual modules can also be used for missions in the area of civil disaster control.
Major General Wolfgang Korte and Hartmut Jenner (Speaker of the Board of Directors of Alfred Kärcher GmbH Co. KG) were able to convince themselves of the perfect functioning and large range of advantages of the complete system during the event which was hosted by Helmut Stelzmüller (Managing Director of Kärcher Futuretech GmbH) at the Ministry of Defence. The first two field camp modules should be purchased in 2006/2007. The procurement of a further 38 modules is planned by the year 2012.
