Description

The Waterclean 2000 HS system is a water treatment unit which is particularly indicated for the treatment of water with a high salinity. Other types of raw water such as well-water, surface water, river or sea water can also be purified to produce drinking water.

The system is integrated in a 20 ft ISO container. The water purification system is based on the safest reverse osmosis (RO) technology. When operated continuously, the system has an average output of 50 m³ drinking water per day.

The integrated Media Sand Filter eliminates solid matter from the raw water for the protection of the downstream system components. After pre-filtration, the water is guided to the reverse osmosis membranes. In the RO modules, bacteria, organic compounds or salts are almost completely separated. Also warfare agents can be separated effectively.

The system is equipped with an additional UV treatment station as a second safety level.

The third safety level is that of the post-chlorination station which is used to make the treated water storable.

The energy supply for the complete system is created by a diesel engine driven electrical power generator which is integrated in the container.

A big advantage of the plant is the integrated energy recycling system (ERS) which minimises the energy consumption to 40 % by means of pressure transmission.
The also integrated cleaning-in-place (CIP) system which is likewise integrated helps to disinfect, clean and preserve the RO unit.

An air-conditioning system is integrated in the inner chamber of the unit to protect the system against detrimental extreme temperatures.
