Bag filter systems are so-called dead-end filters. The filter bags available in different filter sizes and filter finenesses. The filter bags have to be removed when their capacity is exhausted.The capacity of a bag filter strongly depends on the kind of pollution of the raw water. Particles, e.g. sand, can be filtered very easily, algae and oil films are difficult to filter. The capacity of a bag filter decreases when filtering e.g. oily raw water. Zoom |
