Description

The WPS 1600 GT water packaging system is designed for bagging drinking water in tubular bags. The volume of the tubular bags can be selected between 0.5 l, 1 l and 2 l – as preferred by the operator. The nominal bagging capacity is approx. 2,400 bags with a volume of 0.5 l each, or approx. 1,600 bags with a volume of 1 l each, or approx. 1,200 bags with a volume of 2 l each per hour.

The system is suitable for continuous operation and requires only periodical control during operation. The system comprises of the bagging system and an electrical power generator for the supply of the required energy. Both units are mounted together on a frame. The frame is equipped with forklift pockets and jack rings which facilitate loading and unloading from the transport vehicle.

The system includes a cross-country single-axle trailer, which makes the system independent of a means of transport and can be drawn to the wished location by a suitable tractor vehicle.

The system is ready for operation within half an hour to an hour depending on the system type. All systems are designed so that they can withstand the usual loads caused by transport on rail, truck, ship or aeroplane.

The WPS 1600 GT is designed to fulfil the operational conditions of STANAG 2895 (A1, B2 and C1). The frame-mounted system can also be operated under the mentioned climate conditions, e.g. frost, when placed on a suitable vehicle with an appropriate tarpaulin.
