Description

The E-Chlorinator produces chlorine for the disinfection of drinking water from table salt. Thus, transport and handling of hazardous materials is no longer necessary for mobile drinking water purification. A certain amount of chlorine protects drinking water against bacterial aftergrowth.

The E-Chlorinator can be used as extension equipment for the complete Waterclean series instead of chlorine-tion with calcium hypochlorite.

For the production of active chlorine, table salt is dissolved in a container. The diluted salt solution is put into the electrolytic cell where the active chlorine is produced.

The produced active chlorine is used in Waterclean systems for the post-chlorination of up to 6,000 litres of drinking water per hour and protects the drinking water against bacterial aftergrowth.
