The Safeguard™ 1001 is a lightweight decontamination suit worn by the personnel when decontamination of equipment and/or vehicles is necessary. Most decontamination suits are made of heavy rubber or polyurethane and are worn over a carbon loaded material in case of puncture. The Safeguard™ 1001 lightweight decontamination suit is made of Military Tyvek® “F” and is far lighter, causes less body heat stress, and yet provides a higher level of protection against all known chemical warfare agents.
