Description

The main components, i.e. electric drive motor, main fan, burner sphere, heat exchanger and casing, are installed in a torsionally stiff aluminium frame with pick-up points for transportation by air.

The central electric motor drives the main fan and the fuel pump. Combustion air is taken from the airstream of the main fan. Fresh air is sucked in via a radial fan (with upstream filter) and heated by the burner and heat exchanger. Optimized combustion is achieved by the specially shaped burner sphere. The burner sphere and heat exchanger are made of high temperature resistant stainless steel. The heated air is fed through the flexible air ducts via a header and distributor.

The FB 60 E CO is controlled by 4 internal thermostats:
1. Main thermostat: measures air temperature at outlet side and preselects required maximum temperature.
2. Fuel thermostat: measures temperature of preheated fuel and releases corresponding burner function.
3. Cooling thermostat: measures residual heat in unit after end of combustion and cools the FB 60 E CO automatically.
4. Safety thermostat: shuts down burner automatically in case of thermal overload.

The sanitary extension set includes a remote thermostat which controls the unit externally. Burner function is monitored electronically by a control box with photo cell. There are two heating passages in the fuel pipework to preheat the fuel. At the same time, the fuel level is monitored via sensors. An indicator lamp lights up on the control panel if the fuel level is too low.
All components are installed in a sturdy aluminium frame with carrying handles, pick-up points for a fork-lift truck and wheels for fast and easy transport.
