Description

The MAC 7 air conditioner is a transportable unit, developed primarily to provide air conditioning in temporary or transportable buildings or tents. The MAC 7 is designed to be placed outside the tent, with supply air and circulating air ducted to the tent.

The function of the MAC 7 is based on a cooling circuit and two powerful centrifugal fans. The upper section contains the evaporator and evaporator fan, which draws warm ambient or recirculated air through the cold evaporator coil and blows the cooled air through through the outlet into the room. The lower section of the unit houses the condenser fan and condenser coil which return the heat taken from the cooled air to the surrounding atmosphere.

A special version the MAC 7 is equipped with an electrical heating coil, for example for heating at night when the temperatures fall below 20 °C.
